Description
Receive payments for sales conducted over the phone or through mail. Our virtual terminal enables you to handle credit and debit card transactions for offline sales without requiring a website or point-of-sale (POS) system. When an order is received via mail or phone, you can swiftly process payments using a credit or debit card. There's no need for coding, additional software, or specialized equipment—just a web browser will suffice. All activities performed through the Virtual Terminal are documented in your PayPal reports.
To get started, sign in to your PayPal Business account using your web browser and access the Virtual Terminal from your dashboard or the Business Tools section.
You can utilize the optional Quick Order form to streamline the process. This allows you to include shipment or delivery addresses and any other necessary contact information.
After processing the transaction, you have the option to send an email receipt, as well as print out a pre-populated packing slip and a PayPal Shipping label.
Once the transaction is approved, the funds are typically deposited into your account within minutes, and the details of the transaction will be reflected in your Activity reports and other documentation. This efficient system ensures that you can manage sales seamlessly, enhancing your business operations.
