Notably, these adverse events are avoidable. We collaborate with Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), and payers to minimize unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations, particularly focusing on the elderly population, as data indicate that 15%-30% of ER visits for patients aged 65 and older are attributed to ADRs, frequently resulting in hospital admissions. These preventable occurrences highlight the importance of our work. Our approach is founded on advanced scientific principles that integrate multidisciplinary research.
