Summary: My overall experience with INE has been outstanding. As a customer, I am asking that they start providing the training slides so consumers can focus on the lecture.

Positive: I love the interface, structure of the classes, videos, and lab exercises.

Negative: I wish INE provided documents containing the slides covered in training. I take notes to retain the information, so it takes me longer than expected to complete each training module.

Summary: Highly satisfied with detailed trainings for cyber security field and I was also able to access Azure cloud training as well.

Positive: Quality training with labs.
Different type of cybersecurity training.
One subscription to access different IT training!
$499 for one year subscription was really good deal!
I am very happy to signed up their subscription.

Negative: I would like to see some hands on labs for Azure pentesting as well.

Summary: Overall I will always recommend INE/eLearnSecurity to my peers. The certifications are hands on and teach a wide variety of concepts. Im always learning something new, and it helps qualm the "imposter syndrome" because when I certify with INE and do labs, I know I'm getting hands on exposure vs a multiple choice memorization exercise.

Content can be a little dated, but it's still a great learning opportunity and helps develop the mindset and point you to the right questions to advance your skills set.

Positive: Affordable.
Amount of content.
Quality of content.
Practical and hands on.
Good for getting feet wet, and for developing core skills.

Negative: While the content is very good, it doesn't appear to be updated quickly enough to keep up with the industry (ie some content is still using 2013 concepts that have been deprecated/updated).

Summary: Love it 10/10. I love the simplicity of the entire platform. It does not confuse any new users at all.

Positive: The learning modules are very simplified meaning that a grade 5 student can understand it. Not complex.

Negative: I don’t think I have a con to put in for this.

Summary: Overall, yeah I would recommend INE. Try it for free and if you don't like it, then you don't like it. It's a no cost commitment. You literally have nothing to lose here. And if you do like it, then the premium pass is absolutely worth it because the labs are seriously so helpful.

Positive: - Affordable compared to other bootcamps/programs
- Plenty of labs

I'm a total noob at this stuff. Ive been a graphic designer the last 8 years. Long story short, COVID had me rethink my career choice as it has been extremely difficult due to it being so under-appreciated and undervalued. So, while broke as joke, I stumbled upon cybersecurity and noticed what a fruitful career it could be in terms of finances but also satisfying to the soul, as you are out there helping people protect their identification, their finances, even what they eat and drink (recent cyber attacks). After reading up on INE, I signed up for their free courses.

Coming from a non technical background, there has been quite the learning curve for me as you're getting into the nitty-gritty of the computer world, but it really is exciting stuff to learn. Everything is going digital nowadays and knowing Ill eventually become a certified individual in this field makes me work that much harder.

The labs are great and intuitive and make you think critically about what you're trying to accomplish. Completing these courses and learning the material just makes you feel really good about yourself and what you're learning!

Not to mention it is a FRACTION of the cost of other programs, bootcamps, universities etc.

Negative: I have not encountered any yet. I'm about half way through the pentesting student course and I'm loving it.

Summary: I started my professional pentesting journey through INE's PTS (penetration testing student pathway ) which is comes free with starter pass. Fell in love with the content and practical labs that gave me so hands on knowledge about pentesting, passed my eJPT cert and ended up buying the premium subscription without a second thought for eCPPT and other stuff

Positive: No time bound on completing a course learn whenever you want and can.
Labs are awesome.
I always struggled and had to put so much time in getting the right resource to study from. You don't have to waste your time and get to study straight away.

Negative: Few course material suggest softwares which are outdated but overall Ine keeps updating new stuff. So you are gonna learn in anyway.

Summary: Overall i would recommend this to anyone looking to get into cybersecurity! Amazing training at a reasonable price compared to the rest of the security training market.

Positive: All courses at a great price! For less then getting an OSCP you can unlock all the courses and labs for every eLearnSecurity certification! Labs are very useful and great prep to help you make your next step in your career.

Negative: Sometime there are a lot of slides. May seem like death by powerpoint for some courses but they do have videos and labs that enhance your experience greatly.

Summary: Overall it is very exciting. I am really thrilled to cover as much of the courses available and upskill my pentesting skills in as much wide range of domains equipped with modern techniques and knowledge.

Positive: Labs - Excellent labs with good environment. Covers latest scenarios from the day-to-day infosec testing.

Negative: It has been hardly a month I enrolled in INE. SO far everything is good. Can comment only at later stage.

Summary: I use the product for near a year now and I really love it, the price is great. It helps me to learn new subjects/products directly related to my job. I prefer video and the trainers are good with good intonation. I love the training platform.
They also add new courses on a regular basis.

Positive: Easy to use.
Plenty of great courses.
Helped me a lot in my cybersecurity career.
Labs helps a lot to learn.

Negative: Videos aren't restarting where you were, you have to finish the videos otherwise remember at which minute you were.
Labs aren't always related to the exam.

Summary: It seems to have a good instructional design with may course offerings. The price point is competitive with other companies offering the same types of training.

Positive: I have only been using INE for about a week. So far it seems pretty good and full featured. There are also labs to help enforce videos and reading.

Negative: I have not found any cons. Maybe in the future, but pretty solid right now.

Summary: Good institution, price is fine, content is good. I've done a lot of courses. ECPPT, ECPTX, DFIR, MAP.

Positive: The penetration testing courses are very good, the DFIR cover the essentials, Malware analysis also cover the essentials.

Negative: Faced some problems previously with the Lab, now with the new system i think things are much better.

Summary: As long as you can skip Robert’s courses and follow the ones of Keith you can get through. Overall quality is great although some courses require an update since they are mostly taken around 6 years ago and that shows in the material.

Positive: The courses by Keith Bogart are a blast. He is enthusiastic and knows everything about what he is teaching. Easy to listen to because he talking fluent and clear.

Negative: Courses by Robert Shimonski, I’m sorry to name him personally but in this case it's really necessary. His knowledge is outstanding but he stammers a lot, talks monotonous and is not enthusiastic. That makes him hard to follow and makes his courses boring.

Summary: Great experience for great price. Access to all of the learning paths simultaneously allows you to control your learning. You used to bug learning paths, but now you can take certain courses of interest within paths and customize your learning to your own needs and interests. A great move, in my opinion.

Positive: You get access to a ton of information for the price. Learning paths exist that are linked to eLearn Security certifications, so you can take the associated course to prepare for a cert exam. The labs are incredibly useful, the course materials are among the most thorough I've come across on the internet, and include vital topics like active directory. For visual learners, there are often plenty of videos showing how to use the tools you'll be using in the labs, the exams, and the real world once you're done with the course.

Negative: Some of the course material is outdated, for example in PTS there are references and a need to use the spider function on burpsuite that is no longer part of the free version of the software. There are workarounds, but an update to material would be nice to save paying customers the need to problem solve. (even as important a skill that is for hackers, this is about the product you're selling).

While I've never dealt with support, I understand it that they can take a while to respond. While this normally isn't a problem, a technical issue on day 4 of a 7 day exam can be frustrating, especially when you don't get an answer to your emails for 2 days.

Summary: Really happy with my subscription. I switched from CBT Nuggets to INE and I am very happy I did. I like the mixed ways of providing content which I think covers a better range of learning styles. If we were able to download content offline I'd give INE 5/5 and a 10/10 recommendation!

Positive: A great selection of training material covering a range of topics. I like that it's a mixture of content with videos, slides, questions after sections and labs. Instructors are good and provide you the basic material you need rather than over complicate the topic they are talking about.

Negative: App is a bit clunky. It's annoying that you can't download content for offline use as it would be great for when you're on the tube or on a plane.

Summary: Really worth the money and you can tailor the learning to your needs. There are really a lot of plans to choose from.

Positive: The courses variety is awesome, there is so much to choose from!
I have been just focusing on cybersecurity subjects and the material and labs are excellent.

Negative: Sometimes the design of the website is a bit buggy and there are some errors on some presentation slides (eJPT and eCPPT)
Over the last few months, they have been working a lot on the website though, and it is coming along really well.
For this reason, I guess there are times when the platform is unreachable or the labs just lag or keep disconnecting.
